On November 20, 2019 the New York State Council on Children and Families convened the New York State Early Childhood Education Training and Technical Assistance Alignment Summit at the OCFS Human Services Training Center in Rensselaer.

The purpose of the one-day TA Alignment Summit was to scan the landscape of New York State’s training and technical assistance systems, identify areas of potential partnership and collectively problem-solve to improve coordination and streamline assistance offered to the early childhood field.

The TA Alignment Summit was supported by the Preschool Development Grant Birth through 5 (NYSB5) from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, to strengthen statewide early childhood partnerships to improve outcomes for children and families.

There were 60 participants from more than 12 TA systems in NYS. It was a wonderful first step in communication and better understanding of the technical assistance and training available to the early childhood field across the state.

Resources and information shared at the TA Alignment Summit are now posted below.

Please SAVE THE DATE for our next meeting:  March 3, 2020 at the Carondelet Hospitality Center in Latham, NY and March 19, 2020 in New York City (location TBD). An invitation and registration will be coming soon!
